Internal HR app for Value Digital Services. I designed the Flutter architecture and built the app through to release: timesheets, leave requests, HR documents, a staff directory and in-house training.
Overview
WeValue is the HR app Value Digital Services uses internally. From their phone, staff log their hours, request leave, ask HR for documents such as a work certificate, look up colleagues and follow in-house training. I designed the architecture and built the app, from the first module to its release.
It has five modules, all in one Flutter codebase. What you see depends on your role: an employee submits a leave request and their manager approves it, in the same app. Building one app with role-based access, rather than one app for staff and another for managers, meant each new module was added once, and there was a single app to release and maintain as the scope grew.

Time tracking and timesheets
Staff log their hours and submit timesheets from the app.

Leave requests go through an approval flow, and the app keeps count of the days taken.

Certificate requests and profile updates, without going through HR by hand.
Employee directory
A directory of everyone at the company.
E-learning
In-house training courses, taken from the app.
One app, access by role
Employees and managers use the same app. Their role decides which screens and actions they get.
Tech Stack
Architecture
Clean Architecture with a strict domain layer, and BLoC / Cubit for state. The five modules share one codebase and switch on by role, so the code they have in common is written and maintained in one place.
